We are looking for a Logistics Officer to expand our team in Belgium – Bruges
GWE is hiring an ambitious and self-driven Logistics Officer to join our team. As Logistics Officer, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, coordination and management of logistics processes (road, sea and air freight). You report to the Logistics Manager and work in Bruges, and possibly also at our new headquarters in Deinze!
Your Tasks & Responsibilities
· Assist in managing the whole shipping process to ensure smooth operations
· Planning shipments and implement timely solutions for any issues that arise
· Handle essential documents, including as bills of lading, EUR 1 certificates, etc.
· Support in monitoring shipping and distribution budgets
· Collaborate with warehouse staff and project managers to align logistics with project requirements
Your profile:
· Experience as a Logistics Officer or in a similar role.
· Knowledge of logistics operations, shipping procedures, and documentation
· Flexible, enthusiastic, and pro-active
· You thrive in a growing company, enjoy structuring processes, and take pride in leaving your personal stamp on your work
· Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of other languages is an advantage
