Mechanical Engineer

Your Tasks & Responsibilities :

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the mechanical design of our projects, including conceptual design, mechanical calculations, and the design of equipment and piping systems. You will consider manufacturability, cost, reliability, and technical performance in your creative conceptual designs.

You will account for specific requirements for shipping process equipment worldwide and the need for efficient and safe on-site installation. Your duties will include:

• Performing strength and stability calculations for process equipment (pressure vessels and heat exchangers) based on customer specifications.
• Conducting calculations according to relevant standards and codes (ASME, EN, PED, etc.) using existing software packages.
• Drafting specifications for the procurement of various materials based on customer requirements and applicable standards and codes.
• Conducting technical evaluations of material offers.
• Supporting and advising other departments, such as sales, purchasing, production, and quality, on specific customer inquiries and optimizations. You will participate in mechanical discussions with clients to assist your colleagues.
• Reviewing production drawings to ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulations.
• Designing components for highly complex machines and accurately drafting them yourself.
• Working mainly on large projects that may take several months, while occasionally drafting a defective component to assist your colleagues.
• Preparing pricing inquiries and comparisons and organizing orders.
• Participating in work meetings and collaborating closely with the Project Execution department.
• For technical support, you can always turn to a colleague with electrical expertise and someone who handles machine maintenance.
